Catalytic Industrial Systems gas catalytic heaters burn gas at significantly lower temperature than traditional gas heaters, which means consistent & even heat distribution. CIS Catalytic heaters are available as stand alone units or can be preconfigured into zones with control systems to simplify installation and operations tasks.

CIS oven systems can be configured with multiple heat zones which are individually controlled using a PLC and temperature controllers for each zone. The output of each zone and zone temperature adjustment capabilities is tailored to the material, shape and quantity of parts moving through the oven, as well as the coating applied. This is particularly helpful for achieving best-possible curing results.

CIS control systems range from simple on/off to advanced micro-processor systems for critical temperature control. CIS PLC Controllers use simple touch screens and are programmed for safety functions, controllers are programmed for safety, individual zone temperature, exhaust and recirculation fan monitoring and adjustment automatically. For decades, CIS partners with leading manufacturers of programmable controllers in system control panels. Custom controllers can be used without impacting operations in any way.

Gas Trains

CIS manufactures and engineers gas trains to accommodate specific oven heating capacity, available gas pressures and safety requirements compliant with NFPA-86. CIS gas trains are built using internationally recognized brands that meet CIS quality standards.

In accordance with NFPA-86 Oven Code, every CIS oven system must have an exhaust fan, and for some applications a recirculation air system.
